We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri People as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we train and play, and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. We extend this respect to the Elders of other communities who may be here today. We recognise the tremendous contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to sport and we acknowledge the power of sport to promote reconciliation, enhance belonging and reduce inequality.
